Full Time Female Service Leader

We are looking to recruit a female service leader to join our team of support staff to support two ladies with complex health needs. The right person should be enthusiastic, have empathy and compassion and will require a good understanding of dealing with medical requirements such as suction care, peg feeding, skin care and moving and handling.

This role provides 24/7 support and will involve working shifts that include days, nights and weekends and on call out of hours support.

Salary: £12.00 hourly.

We are looking to recruit as soon as possible, this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

This role is full time, permanent and is subject to a 6 month probationary period.

Key Responsibilities for this role will include:

Work as directed by senior management in the daily running and management of the service.
Comply and be aware of policies and procedures.
Oversee and manage medication – administer, record, stock control and re-ordering.
Ensure the service is fully compliant with safeguarding policies.
Administer medication
Interviewing and Induction of new members of staff for their designated service.
Be aware of and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Produce staff rotas to operate a 24/7 shift pattern, and authorise time sheets for payroll.
Ensure staff compliance with sickness policy. Monitor sickness levels and complete return to work interviews.
Staff supervision and appraisals.
Authorise and manage annual holidays.
Arrange team meetings, record minutes and oversee any actions to be taken.
Management of finances within designated service.
Managing the environment to ensure Health & Safety compliance.
Ensure the service complies with the Care Quality Commission regulations.
Ensure administration of service complies with Orbis Support policy and all documentation is kept up to date.
